Hi, I'm Lisa! I'm a dietitian and owner of Nourish Nutrition & Diabetes, but I'm a real person too! I know how hard it is to work, have a family, and make healthy meals happen.
Helping my clients get healthier is my passion! I believe each client is unique and their past experiences with food matter. My clients are knowledgeable about nutrition, but sometimes all that knowledge makes it overwhelming and confusing. Simplifying nutrition and getting back to real food is always my goal. I avoid highly processed food and "diet" food.
Being in practice for well over a decade has given me the experience and understanding to help you overcome your health challenges. I earned both Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Oklahoma and complete ongoing continuing education every year. I work with people of all ages from infants to adults. My own health problems have given me personal experience in diet and lifestyle adjustment.
Outside of work, my husband, two kids, and I like to travel, hike, garden, and cook healthy/tasty meals. And eat peanut butter. In moderation, of course.

Amber brings over a decade of experience to our practice. Her clinical interests are diabetes, bariatrics and overall wellness. She has a passion for real food and maintaining a balanced lifestyle. She knows that balance means good nutrition, regular physical activity, getting enough sleep, managing stress, and spending meaningful time with family and friends.
Amber earned her Bachelor's degree from Oklahoma State University and her Master's degree from the University of Central Oklahoma. She has advanced training in exercise science, as well as interpreting detailed lab tests, so she is able to expertly tailor her nutrition and exercise advice to each individual's needs.
