Meet Our Registered Dietitian Nutritionists
Lisa Johnston, MS, RD/LD, CDE
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Certified Diabetes Educator
Hi, I'm Lisa! I'm a dietitian and owner of Nourish Nutrition & Diabetes, but I'm a real person too! I know how hard it is to work, have a family, and make healthy meals happen.
Helping my clients get healthier is my passion! I believe each client is unique and their past experiences with food and dieting matter. My clients are knowledgeable about nutrition, but sometimes all that knowledge makes it overwhelming and confusing. Simplifying nutrition and getting back to real food is always my goal. I avoid ultra-processed food and "diet" food.
Being in practice for over 17 years has given me the experience and understanding to help you overcome your health challenges. I earned both Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Oklahoma and complete ongoing continuing education every year. I work with people of all ages from infants to adults. My own health problems have given me personal experience in diet and lifestyle adjustment.
Outside of work, my husband, two kids, and I like to travel, hike, garden, and cook healthy/tasty meals. And eat peanut butter. In moderation, of course.
Credentials:
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, 2007-Present
Licensed Dietitian (Oklahoma), 2007-Present
Certified Diabetes Educator, 2011-Present

Sophia Sapper, MS, RD/LD
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist
Hi, I'm Sophia! I became a dietitian to understand how food is utilized within the body and how it affects the body. My passion is teaching people how to eat for general health or conditions that may affect them. I believe it is possible to eat for optimal health and well-being without compromising flavor and the joy of food. Food is fundamental to our core. It is personal, emotional, and often times nostalgic. However, nutrition is not one size fits all. Even the smallest change in one’s diet can build upon lifelong health improvements.
I understand that many dietary plans serve as guidelines rather than strict rules. My goal is to help you embrace food and life without the stress that often accompanies dietary changes. Through personalized guidance, I strive to help others navigate their nutritional choices, fostering a deeper understanding of how to nourish themselves. Together, we will explore your specific needs and preferences to develop a personalized approach that aligns with your lifestyle and nutritional goals. Whether you are looking to manage symptoms through diet or simply learn more about balanced eating, I am here to meet you where you are. Outside of being a dietitian, I enjoy spending time with my husband, family and pets. My husband and I like exercising outside, both walking and jogging. I love cooking and baking as well, especially trying new recipes. My favorite food is fajitas (shrimp or veggie or both)! 120 lb!!! I can't tell you how much I appreciate Lisa! She has helped me attain a goal I have had for a very long time. Not only the weight loss, but changing my eating habits. - Kathy K. Thanks to Lisa, my blood sugar is consistently down in the 110-130 range every day now. She has helped us a great deal on places to buy food (already prepared) for dinners etc. It helps with our busy work schedule. I've already lost 8 lb by following the plan Lisa provided." -K. S. |
In three weeks, I have already lost inches all over my body. I have never been this successful.
